Job Description

• Develop and maintain backend services and AI-assisted PoC interfaces using Python.
• Review, validate, and refine AI-generated code to ensure quality, security, maintainability, and adherence to best practices before integration into production systems.
• Integrate and manage robust authentication and authorization services.
• Design, build, and automate cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) while applying security best practices.
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions, including repository policies and secret management.
• Implement and maintain comprehensive monitoring and observability solutions to ensure application performance and reliability.
• Lead the design and development of internal platform tools to optimize developer workflows and experience, e.g. automation of local development environments set up.
• Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to the development team on infrastructure and tooling.
• Uphold code and infrastructure quality through peer code reviews.
• Establish team guidelines for AI code review processes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant professional experience as Software Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar.
• Demonstrated experience reviewing and validating AI-generated code, with strong ability to identify security vulnerabilities, logic errors, edge cases, and anti-patterns that AI tools commonly produce.
• Deep expertise in cloud architecture, security principles, and Infrastructure as Code, specifically with Terraform.
• Strong proficiency in a backend programming language (preferably Python), and extensive hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes, Helm)
• Proven ability to design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for cloud environments.
• Experience implementing and managing monitoring and observability stacks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic, etc.).
• Demonstrated technical leadership and mentorship experience within an engineering team.
• Solid understanding of core IT fundamentals, including Linux, networking concepts (routing, load balancers, firewalls), and database management (relational and non-relational).
• Experience working within agile frameworks in a global team environment and leveraging AI solutions to enhance daily work.
