Job description

About the Role

We are seeking a People and Workplace Specialist to provide high-quality people advisory and operational support, contributing to both employee experience and effective business operations. In this role, you will act as a trusted partner to employees and managers throughout the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with UK employment legislation and promoting consistent people practices across the Group.

At Frankenburg, you will join an exceptional team of leading experts in technology and national defence, building next-generation defence missile systems for the free world. You will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your contribution will directly impact organisational effectiveness and the successful execution of the Group’s strategic objectives. If you thrive on supporting people and driving operational excellence — we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • People Advisory & Employee Relations
Act as the primary point of contact for UK employees and managers, providing guidance and support on people-related matters, policies, employment practices, and employee relations.

  • People Operations & Compliance
Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, payroll, benefits, occupational health and safety activities, and other employee-related compliance requirements in cooperation with internal stakeholders and external service providers.

  • Career Development & Employee Experience
Design, implement, and continuously improve career development frameworks, talent development initiatives, and employee engagement programmes that support employee growth and overall employee experience.

  • Governance & Corporate Administration
Assist with UK entity administration, corporate governance processes, compliance activities, and operational support for the sales and corporate services functions.

  • Event Management & External Engagement
Support the planning and execution of trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, and corporate events, including registrations, logistics, travel arrangements, supplier coordination, and attendee management.

We Would Love You to Have

  • Experience
At least 3 years in people operations, workplace management, or a similar role, preferably in fast‑paced, high‑growth, and international environments.

  • Expertise
Good knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practices, with experience supporting managers and employees on people-related matters and providing general administrative support. Experience in designing and implementing career development, talent development, employee engagement, or organisational development initiatives is an advantage.

  • Soft Skills
A proactive, solution-oriented mindset combined with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to build trust, influence stakeholders, and effectively collaborate with employees, managers, and leadership across multiple locations.

  • Mission Alignment
Strong alignment with our mission to build affordable and mass-manufacturable defence technologies — ensuring every euro spent moves us closer to our goal.

  • Security Clearance
Willingness to undergo a background check as a condition of employment.

Our Values

Our mission is ambitious, and it takes a team that works with the same intensity.

  • Own the Mission: Mission first. Always.
We choose impact — we focus on what moves the mission forward fastest instead of “nice-to-haves". We fix it now — when delays or problems appear, we step up, rally the right people, and solve them immediately. We keep momentum — when time matters, we stay focused and move forward without waiting for perfect conditions.

  • Strive for More: Dare more. Do more. Achieve the impossible.
We challenge the status quo — we question, test, and improve instead of accepting “the usual way.” We embrace discomfort — we step outside comfort zones and turn challenges into growth. We anticipate the future — we build solutions that scale and set higher standards each time.

  • Build with Trust: Be open. Keep promises.
We walk the talk — what we say, we do. No excuses, no exceptions. We share openly — we communicate clearly and early, even when the news is hard. We own outcomes — we admit errors quickly, fix them, and prevent them from repeating.
