ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to the Digital PR Manager, the Digital PR Specialist will play a key role in supporting all digital PR initiatives. Responsibilities include conducting research, building targeted media contact lists, drafting and executing outreach, supporting social media calendars and/or Reddit organic strategies, and assisting with performance reporting. We are looking for a fast-working, results-driven professional with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will bring a competitive, positive, and proactive attitude, a passion for relationship-building, and proven experience leveraging social media and engaging journalists.

The Digital PR team is the 2025 Bulldog Awards winner of Best PR & Communications Team of the Year Award.

This is a pipeline position tied to anticipated business growth. Candidates must reside in and be authorized to work in the U.S.

ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute digital PR and Reddit strategies tailored to client goals (e.g., brand awareness/reputation, engagement, website traffic, search visibility, etc.)
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and real-time conversations (including on Reddit) to identify opportunities that inform communication strategies
  • Support digital marketing client onboarding, campaign setup, and research.
  • Support outreach to media, bloggers, influencers, and community moderators to earn mentions, backlinks, and high-quality coverage
  • Support Reddit strategy and tactics with research, identifying subreddits/threads for clients’ branded profiles to join, engage, and comment
  • Collaborate with designers and videographers to create high-quality visuals and video content when needed
  • Identify and build authentic relationships with online communities, influencers, partners and brand advocates to boost brand loyalty
  • Track and analyze campaign performance using platform analytics and third-party tools such as SEMrush, Writesonic, Sprout Social, Meltwater, and Rival IQ
  • Optimize strategies based on performance data to improve ROI, visibility and campaign effectiveness
  • Stay up to date with digital PR, SEO, GEO and social media trends, and changes
  • Work cross-functionally with SEO, paid media, and content teams on integrated, search everywhere campaigns
  • Suggest creative ideas for new campaigns, trends, and engagement opportunities

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or a related field
  • 1-2+ years working experience in media relations and social media in-house or at an agency
  • Proven experience creating social media content
  • Successful experience pitching media and earning coverage
  • Exhibit understanding of digital marketizing, online business and their trends and changes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized with strong time-management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work well with others in both team and independent environments
  • Solid critical thinking skills

ABOUT THE COMPENSATION

  • Base Salary: USD $58,000.00 to $65,000.00; depending on experience and skills
  • Discretionary annual bonus: Up to 10% of annual salary
