The Job:  

As a Principal Architect- Enterprise Architecture, you’ll be part of our Information Technology Team team working as a remote employee.    Enterprise Architect serves as a strategic technology partner to the business, responsible for translating strategic opportunities into actionable, business-aligned technology strategies. This role ensures that technology investments deliver measurable value and support the organization’s long-term objectives. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Integration, ERP, Data, AI, and related domains, and excels at bridging business needs with innovative technology solutions. Provides the reusable standards, guidelines, patterns and frameworks and has extensive knowledge of architectural frameworks, methodologies, and tools. You’ll get to:  

  • Partner with business leaders and IT to understand strategic objectives and translate them into actionable architecture artifacts (capability maps, value streams, operating models, and roadmaps).
  • Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture framework, ensuring alignment between business goals and IT strategy.
  • Support portfolio planning by linking initiatives to capabilities and strategic outcomes
  • Track and communicate the value delivered by technology initiatives, using metrics and KPIs to demonstrate business impact.
  • Facilitate cross-functional workshops and architecture reviews to drive alignment and decision making
  • Establish and maintain architectural standards, templates and governance practices
  • Promote application, integration, data architecture strategy, including data governance, quality, security
  • Lead the adoption and integration of AI/ML technologies across capabilities, ensuring responsible and ethical use of AI
  • Interacts with various business and IT stakeholders throughout the planning, PMO, SDLC and Service Management processes
  • Leads the complexity reduction agenda by enabling alignment to standards 
  • Working with the BUs, responsible for retirement of obsolete applications and technologies
  • Incorporates domain specific strategies into the future state BU app portfolio
  • Facilitates the effective integration of frameworks and corresponding processes with other related business and IT processes and patterns from an architectural standpoint
  • Leads / facilitates the creation of governing principles to guide information, technology, and solution decision making for the enterprise
  • Oversees  development and maintenance of conceptual, logical, and physical application architecture

Education/ Experience

  • Undergraduate degree and 16+ years relevant experience, or
  • Graduate degree and 12+ years relevant experience.
  • Additional training or certification in organization change management highly desirable
  • Previous experience as a successful enterprise architect highly desirable
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in at least two IT disciplines (such as technical architecture, solution architecture, network management, application development, middleware design, information analysis, database management or operations management) in a heterogeneous environment — or five years of experience in solution architecture, business analysis or business strategic planning

The Salary range for this position is $134,300.00 - $231,700.00
