Client Account Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Client Account Manager β Automotive to drive new business acquisition and develop long-term partnerships with advertisers across the automotive industry. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in digital media sales, social media advertising, and client relationship management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for prospecting, acquiring, and growing a portfolio of clients while acting as a trusted advisor to help customers achieve their marketing and business objectives through innovative advertising solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and engage prospective customers to deliver digital advertising solutions that support their marketing and business goals.
- Establish new client relationships through both direct outreach and agency partnerships.
- Successfully onboard new advertisers and position them for long-term success on the platform.
- Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts, including new business units and additional advertising initiatives.
- Partner closely with Account Managers to build long-term, mutually beneficial customer relationships.
- Take full ownership of an assigned book of business, including:
- Revenue generation
- Sales strategy
- Pipeline management
- Revenue forecasting
- Operational excellence
- Act as the primary business owner for assigned accounts, ensuring strong customer engagement and business growth.
- Provide customer insights and feedback to internal teams to improve sales processes, product offerings, and go-to-market strategies.
Required Qualifications
- 4β7 years of experience in digital media, advertising, or related industries.
- 1β3 years of quota-carrying sales experience with a proven track record of acquiring new business.
- Experience managing a portfolio of 30+ client accounts.
- Strong familiarity with sales and prospecting tools used for:
- Research
- Lead generation
- Outreach
- Account prioritization
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Deep understanding of:
- Social media advertising
- Native advertising
- Digital marketing ecosystem
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated individual who performs well in fast-paced and evolving environments.
- Positive attitude with a collaborative, team-first mindset.
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Experience
- Experience selling digital advertising solutions within the automotive industry.
- Experience working with both direct advertisers and media agencies.
- Ability to identify new revenue opportunities and strategically grow existing accounts.
- Strong business acumen with excellent forecasting and pipeline management skills.
