Job description

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering
Professional Engineering (P.E.) License
Minimum 4+ years of experience in engineering design of building structural systems.
Must have demonstrated experience in the structural design for steel and concrete structures on a variety of projects.
Must have advanced working proficiency in STAAD Pro
Must have working knowledge of Revit.
Must have a solid working knowledge of building codes and other applicable structural codes.
Should have and display strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities:

Maintain effective communications with department members, higher management, and clients.
Perform calculations of structural systems (hand calculations, computer-aided calculations (spreadsheets and mathcad), and 3D modeling analysis (Staad)).
Assist in creation of contract drawings via providing drawing input to structural designer

Comments/Special Instructions

PE is non-negotiable.
visa sponsorship not possible. The position can be remote or near the client's office.
The remote position is justified because the role does not require client and contractor face-to-face interaction, and coordination on the project is executed remotely already.
Please ensure the candidate has some industrial experience and not just residential experience.
