Job description

Pay Range: $40 - $55/hr. Negotiable based on experience. 
Location: Fully Remote (U.S.-based)
Work Hours: 10-15 hours per week 
Reports to: Associate Creative Director 
 
Your Mission:
Your mission as a Contract Graphic Designer is to bring the Playbook brand to life through thoughtful, high-quality visual design that supports marketing initiatives, client experiences, and business growth. By combining creativity with strong attention to detail, you will develop compelling assets that strengthen our brand identity, solve creative challenges, and elevate the visual experience across multiple channels and sub-brands.

Responsibilities:
  • Creative Design & Brand Execution: Produce polished digital and print assets that stay true to Playbook's brand standards while supporting diverse marketing campaigns, client initiatives, and business needs. Develop brand templates, marketing collateral, presentations, experiential graphics, and other creative deliverables that ensure visual consistency across multiple sub-brands.
  • Creative Collaboration: Partner closely with the Associate Creative Director and cross-functional stakeholders to understand project goals, provide creative solutions, incorporate feedback, and ensure all deliverables align with the intended vision and brand strategy.
  • Project Management & Responsiveness: Manage multiple creative requests simultaneously while balancing shifting priorities and deadlines. Remain responsive through Slack, proactively communicate project updates, and deliver high-quality work within agreed-upon timelines.
  • Creative Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Bring fresh ideas, thoughtful design solutions, and creative problem-solving to every project. Continuously look for opportunities to elevate Playbook's visual identity, improve creative processes, and enhance the overall impact of design across the organization.

  • Requirements:
  • You have 5+ years of professional graphic design experience creating digital and print marketing materials.
  • You are highly proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • You have experience using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive), Canva, Slack, and Figma.
  • Experience with Customer.io or other email marketing platforms is preferred.
  • A strong online portfolio demonstrating branding, marketing, and visual design work is required.
  • Experience with photo editing and retouching, brand development, multi-brand design systems, basic motion graphics or video editing (After Effects or Premiere), and experiential or environmental design is a plus.
