Position Summary
The Senior Enterprise Applications Administrator is responsible for the administration, support, optimization, security, and continuous improvement of the organization's enterprise business applications, with primary responsibility for the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform. This role partners closely with business stakeholders across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Sales, Customer Service, and IT to ensure enterprise applications are reliable, secure, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.
The Senior Enterprise Applications Administrator serves as the technical lead for ERP administration, system integrations, upgrades, troubleshooting, reporting, workflow automation, and user support while providing strategic guidance for future enterprise application initiatives.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Administer, maintain, and support the ERP environment, including application configuration, security, user administration, and system performance.
- Serve as the primary technical administrator for ERP software and related enterprise applications.
- Monitor application health, performance, availability, and reliability.
- Develop and maintain application standards, procedures, and documentation.
- Manage system environments including Production, Test, and Development.
- Analyze business processes and recommend ERP improvements.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Support business users by resolving complex application issues.
- Administer integrations between existing ERP and third-party systems.
- Support APIs, REST services, EDI, middleware, and data exchange processes.
- Coordinate integration testing during upgrades and system changes.
- Troubleshoot interface failures and data synchronization issues.
- Manage ERP security roles, permissions, and user access.
- Develop and maintain queries, dashboards, reports, and data extracts.
- Support SQL queries and reporting tools.
- Maintain data integrity across enterprise applications.
- Assist departments with reporting and analytics requirements.
- Plan, test, and implement ERP software patches, updates, and version upgrades.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Document system changes and release procedures.
- Evaluate new ERP functionality and recommend adoption where appropriate.
- Provide Tier III application support.
- Mentor junior administrators and IT staff.
- Develop user documentation and training materials.
- Lead training sessions for new features and system enhancements.
- Participate in ERP implementation and enhancement projects.
- Lead enterprise application initiatives from planning through deployment.
- Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
- Manage multiple concurrent priorities and projects.
- Perform other related duties as needed.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelorβs degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of enterprise application administration experience.
- 5+ years administering Epicor ERP in a manufacturing or distribution environment highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ERP architecture and business processes.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, finance, inventory, purchasing, and supply chain operations.
- Experience with SQL Server, database queries, and reporting.
- Knowledge of ERP security administration.
- Experience managing application upgrades and system implementations.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Work Environment
This position works primarily in an office environment using computers and technology. Verbal and auditory capability are required. Occasional exposure in production plant where large equipment and noise are prevalent. Safety gear is required in these areas.
This position may work from home up to 2X/week if performance is in good standing.
