We’re currently looking for a talented Allied Health Team Leader to join and lead our multidisciplinary team of Rehabilitation Consultants in Perth and help shape lives. With on-going support, mentoring and ability for a reduced case load based on your area of interest, this role provides an ideal blend of leadership focus and holistic quality of care with clients - including rewarding work with DVA clients.

Job Description

How you’ll be making an impact in people’s lives:

Due to continued growth an opportunity has become available for a Team Leader who will be responsible for:

  • Leading and coaching a team of Consultants 
  • Overseeing the team's performance and quality 
  • Exploring new opportunities and growth areas
  • Mentoring and training junior staff members
  • Providing advice and coaching on case management practices, whilst also managing a reduced, specialised case load of your own.
  • Identifying Return To Work barriers and, designing, implementing and monitoring those programs that assist injured employees return to the workforce as required.

 

Qualifications

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Qualifications and full relevant registration in Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Chiropractic, or Rehab Counselling 
  • Current Vehicle and Drivers Licence and ability to travel for work
  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience in workers compensation, rehabilitation, and occupational health and safety legislation
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills to confidently liaise with insurers, medical practitioners, employers and employees
  • Evidence of accurate information gathering and analysis in order to provide thorough and comprehensive assessments
  • Ability to consistently provide high level customer service and grow business by way of increased referrals
  • Proven organisation and time management skills
