A Day in the Life

The Sales Representative Aortic is responsible for providing field-based customer support with a strong focus on case support within the Aortic business. This temporary position is intended to address coverage gaps caused by two currently vacant sales territories and to ensure continuity of support during a transitional period.

The role will primarily focus on supporting procedures, maintaining customer contact in the assigned territories, and helping ensure the proper and compliant use of company products in the clinical setting. The position will also reduce the workload on the existing team and help maintain a high level of service and responsiveness in the affected areas.

The role will cover specific cases all over Germany and is a remote role. This means your home/remote location is the primary work location. There may however be requirements to attend a Medtronic location for meetings from time to time.
The position comes with a 12 months fixed-term contract and is a part-time 60% role.

There is a facility-based immunization requirement for this position. Therefore, full Measles immunization is a requirement to fill the open position.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Provide field support in the assigned Aortic territories with a primary focus on case support
  • Attend and support procedures as needed to help ensure smooth case execution
  • Support healthcare professionals in the appropriate preparation and use of company products in accordance with approved product labeling, instructions for use, and internal policies
  • Maintain regular customer contact and support continuity in territories with limited or vacant field coverage
  • Partner closely with the broader sales and clinical teams to coordinate case planning and territory support
  • Help ensure reliable case coverage and customer responsiveness during the vacancy period
  • Support the existing team by taking ownership of case-related activities in open territories
  • Share relevant market, customer, and procedural feedback with internal stakeholders as appropriate
  • Ensure all activities are conducted in line with applicable quality, compliance, and company standards

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Experience in medical device sales, clinical support, or a related field-based role
  • Prior exposure to operating room environments
  • Experience supporting complex procedures
  • Knowledge of Aortic therapies
  • Strong customer-facing skills and ability to build effective relationships with clinical stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with cross-functional teams
  • German and English language fluency
