Job Overview

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in building, deploying, and maintaining enterprise applications by managing CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and Windows-based infrastructure. You will work closely with software development and QA teams to streamline release processes, improve deployment reliability, and ensure high system availability across multiple environments.

What You Will Do

  • Design, manage, and optimize Azure DevOps (ADO) CI/CD pipelines for automated build and deployment processes.
  • Develop, administer, and enhance Jenkins pipelines to support continuous integration and continuous delivery.
  • Build and package Windows installers (MSI/EXE) using the WiX Toolset, including Bundles and Bootstrappers.
  • Manage application build, release, and deployment activities across development, testing, staging, and production environments.
  • Configure, administer, and maintain Windows Servers, including application and database server environments.
  • Troubleshoot deployment failures, service startup issues, and environment-related problems to ensure application stability and availability.
  • Utilize Git for source code management and develop PowerShell scripts to automate deployment, configuration, and operational tasks.
  • Collaborate with Software Development and Quality Assurance teams to resolve application, infrastructure, deployment, and database-related issues.
  • Continuously improve deployment processes by identifying automation opportunities and implementing DevOps best practices.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), or a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in DevOps, Build & Release Engineering, or Deployment Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) CI/CD pipeline creation, administration, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience developing and maintaining Jenkins pipelines.
  • Strong experience building Windows installers using the WiX Toolset (MSI/EXE, Bundlers, Bootstrappers).
  • Experience administering Windows Server environments.
  • Proficiency with Git version control.
  • Experience writing PowerShell scripts for automation.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to application deployments and infrastructure.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience supporting enterprise application deployment environments.
  • Knowledge of software release management and deployment best practices.
  • Experience working across development, QA, and production environments.
  • Familiarity with database server administration and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of CI/CD methodologies, DevOps practices, and infrastructure automation.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative engineering environment.
