Job description

Aderant is a global industry leading software company providing comprehensive business management solutions for law firms and other professional services organizations with a mission to help them run a better business. We are motivated by a collective desire to drive the legal industry to the forefront of innovation. With over 2,500 clients around the world, including 95 of the top AmLaw 100 firms, we are changing the outside perception of the legal sphere; where there was once resistance to modernization, we are creating a culture that embraces new ideas and technology.

At Aderant, the “A” is more than just a letter. It is a representation of how we fulfill our foundational purpose, serving our clients. It embodies our core values and reminds us that to achieve success, every day must start with the “A”. We bring the “A” to life by fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and personal growth. We encourage our diverse teams to bring their whole selves to work – ideas, experience, and passion – to drive our mission forward.

Our people are our strength.

We are seeking a Product Manager to own and drive product strategy and execution for a defined product area or set of capabilities within our portfolio. In this role, you will define product direction, partner closely with cross-functional teams, and deliver outcomes that create measurable, client-centric value for our clients and the business.

What You'll Do

  • Own product strategy and execution for your area, translating client and market needs into a clear roadmap

  • Champion a client-centric approach, grounding decisions in direct client feedback, usage data, and real-world workflow understanding

  • Drive AI-driven product management and development - idea through ship, using AI tools and methods to accelerate discovery, design, and delivery

  • Partner closely with Engineering, Design, Data, Sales, Services, Support, and Client Success teams to align priorities and deliver on commitments

  • Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency, automation, analytics, and client experience within your product area

  • Translate client, market, and operational insights into actionable requirements and execution plans

  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders and adjacent product teams to ensure your roadmap fits into the broader platform and portfolio strategy

  • Communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap clearly to stakeholders, clients, and internal teams

  • Support go-to-market efforts by helping define positioning, key benefits, and target client needs

Experience

  • 3+ years of product management experience in enterprise SaaS environments

  • Experience owning a product area and driving and contributing to cross-functional initiatives

  • Hands-on experience with AI-driven product management - using AI tools and workflows across the full lifecycle from ideation to shipped product

  • Comfort working with platforms, data, APIs, integrations, or workflow-heavy enterprise applications

  • Experience partnering with engineering and design to ship product incrementally with a client first mindset

Domain Expertise Required

  • Experience with complex law firm operations, including financial, billing, timekeeping, or practice management workflows

  • Experience as product management in a law firm is a +.

Skills & Capabilities

  • Deeply client-centric, with a track record of grounding product decisions in client needs and feedback

  • Strong business and product judgment

  • Clear written and verbal communication, including with stakeholders and clients

  • Data-driven mindset with comfort navigating ambiguity and trade-offs

  • High ownership and bias toward action

  • Collaborative approach within cross-functional, matrixed teams
