Job Overview:

Customer: Internal Revenue Services (IRS) 

Location: Remote, with occasional onsite support for meetings, deployments, production activities, or knowledge transfer as required.

Clearance: No clearance required.

Position Summary

Provide production operations, application sustainment, release support, troubleshooting, and incident response for enterprise applications supporting IRS Common API Services.

Preferred Experience

  • IRS production environments
  • Federal Government operations
  • Monitoring tools such as AppDynamics or ELK
  • OpenShift

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Clearance

No clearance required.

Security Requirements:

  • No active Secret or Top Secret security clearance is required.
  • Candidates must be eligible to obtain IRS Staff-Like Access following contract award.
  • Personnel requiring access to IRS facilities, systems, or Sensitive But Unclassified (SBU) information must successfully complete the IRS personnel security process before beginning work. This includes:
    • IRS suitability determination
    • FBI fingerprinting
    • Background investigation (SF-85/SF-85P, as applicable)
    • Tax compliance verification
    • U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency verification
    • Execution of required Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and IRS security forms

Notes:

  • Strong preference for candidates with IRS or Federal Government IT modernization experience.
  • Experience with enterprise Java development, APIs, middleware, OpenShift, and microservices will be highly competitive.
