Role Brief:

Spectrum.Life is a virtual health clinic, our team of nursing and allied health professionals connect with participants using video call and monitor participant progress through the use of remote monitoring. We work to offer services unavailable elsewhere - delivering multidisciplinary, outcome focused, evidence based care.
 
We primarily operates multidisciplinary, funded programs within Cancer, Mental Health and Chronic Care. We work with a range of payers including private health funds and life insurers. 
  
We are seeking an experienced accredited dietitian to join our growing team as a staff member/ emaployee

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a clinical caseload dependent on background 
  • Deliver education to participants via telehealth model
  • Carry out standardised and evidence based assessments 
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Reporting to referrer and/or patients medical team
  • Take part in case conferencing as needed
  • Adherence to technological security measures
  • Adherence to all policy & procedures 
  • Monitors delivery of care by documenting care; identifying progress toward desired care outcomes; reviewing the care plan with patients and with care providers
  • Respects participants and providers by recognising their rights and maintaining confidentiality;
  • Adherence to business and technological security standards and measures

Requirements:

  1. More than 4 years experience in client work in a private or community/hospital settings
  2. Registered with DA as an APD
  3. Experience working with oncology clients highly regarded
  4. Experience working in a variety of funding models highly regarded
  5. Access to stable, private internet connection
  6. PC or Laptop computer with camera and microphone
  7. Familiarity with telehealth service provision 

Desirable:

  1. Demonstrated experience in client work in a private or community/hospital setting
  2. Excellent client centred focus along with effective communication/problem solving skills
  3. The ability to work independently and good time management skills
  4. Knowledge and understanding of various funding models, including private health insurance, occupational rehabilitation and medicare rebatable services
  5. Previous work experience in telehealth/digital health care would be highly considered.
  6. Flexibility to increase hours into the future preferable
  7. Demonstrated competence in the use of information technology and desktop
  8. applications; internet, word, spreadsheet, electronic medical record and database packages
