ABOUT THE ROLE 

Bridge technology solutions with operational implementation across 1,400+ facilities, ensuring successful adoption, staff training, and sustainable integration. Lead change management initiatives and coordinate with existing operations teams to maximize technology adoption and operational impact.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Implementation Management

  • Develop comprehensive implementation frameworks for technology rollouts.
  • Coordinate with operator teams to ensure smooth technology adoption.
  • Review training programs and materials for facility staff and management.
  • Monitor adoption metrics, user satisfaction, and operational impact.

Change Management Leadership

  • Design and execute change management strategies for technology implementations.
  • Assess organizational readiness and identify potential resistance points.
  • Build change champion networks across facilities and regions.
  • Develop communication plans and stakeholder engagement strategies.

Process Optimization & Integration

  • Analyze existing operational processes and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Design integration points between new technologies and existing systems.
  • Establish performance metrics and success criteria for operational improvements.
  • Coordinate with IT teams on technical integration requirements.

Facility Relationship Management

  • Build strong relationships with facility administrators and operations teams.
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess implementation progress and gather feedback.
  • Facilitate best practice sharing across facilities and regions.
  • Support facility teams with troubleshooting and optimization.

Training & Support Development

  • Create comprehensive training curricula for various technology implementations.
  • Develop user manuals, quick reference guides, and support documentation.
  • Establish help desk protocols and escalation procedures.
  • Coordinate with vendors on training resources and ongoing support.

TRAVEL 

60-70%, if not based around a Welltower office location

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years experience in operations consulting, healthcare operations, or change management.
  • Strong project management skills with experience managing multi-site implementations.
  • Excellent communication and training skills with diverse audiences.
  • Experience working with healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Senior living or healthcare industry experience with direct facility operations knowledge.
  • Change management certification (Prosci, Kotter, etc.).
  • Six Sigma or Lean operations certification.
  • Experience training staff in healthcare or senior living environments.
  • Multi-jurisdictional experience (US, Canada, UK).
