THE ROLE

As a Senior Accountant, you'll provide organizational and financial management expertise to help our clients achieve their growth targets while maintaining exceptional quality standards and exceeding expectations.

YOUR IMPACT

Client Services

• Build effective long-term relationships with existing clients
• Provide proactive service and ongoing accounting advice
• Manage your own client portfolio
• Identify value-added services and growth opportunities
• Introduce clients to additional services including Personal Wealth Advisory

Accounting Excellence

• Deliver tailored Business Advisory services to diverse business clients
• Provide compliance, accounting, and tax return preparation for all taxpayer types
• Ensure adherence to all processes including Xero implementation
• Identify process improvement opportunities

Productivity & Efficiency

• Achieve individual productivity targets
• Manage deadlines effectively
• Present a professional image of the firm
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation

Team Development

• Support team members through systems training
• Mentor junior team members in their career development
• Delegate effectively and supervise work completion
• Maintain current industry knowledge

FLEXIBLE WORKING

• Work from home one day per week after probation period
• Modern office in an excellent Parkville location
• Collaborative environment with the flexibility to suit your lifestyle

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 3-7 years public practice experience
• Strong technical knowledge in accounting and taxation
• Experience with diverse client portfolios
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Proactive approach to client service
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Commitment to continuous improvement
