ANR - Systems Engineer - AISG

The Alaska Northstar Resources (ANR) team is seeking a qualified Systems Engineer to help them on a new long-term project. This is a remote opportunity; however, candidates must be geographically located within a 2-hour drive of the Dayton, OH or Montgomery, AL area to be considered.

The Systems Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Provides technical and Subject Matter Expert (SME) support for the program.
• Research, identify and close stagnant PQDRs. 
• Captures, understands, translates, and documents customer requirements. 
• Defines system and program requirements; and generates software performance and reliability specifications and requirements. 
• Creates and maintains programmatic and technical documentation to insure efficient planning and execution. 
• Manages and documents system configurations and oversees all transitions into production. 
• Performs troubleshooting and remediation, ensures successful program changes/migrations, and provides post project end user support. 

Minimum Candidate Requirements

Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen 

Candidate must have an active DoD Secret Clearance

Candidates must be geographically located within a 2-hour drive of the Dayton, OH (preferred) or Montgomery, AL area to be considered. 

Candidate must have at least 5 years' experience in the following:  

• Information system oversight
• Troubleshooting on-premises system-level issues in Windows and Linux

Desired knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Bachelor's degree.

Experience working in Joint Deficiency Reporting System (JDRS) for the USAF.
