SUMMARY: 

The Senior Director, Patient Support Recruitment & Marketing is responsible for orchestrating all aspects of the development and implementation of Elligo’s enrollment for Elligo Site Network managing the Patient Engagement team and facilitating planning with Site Operations and other key departments. This role will devise custom strategies during pre-award for Elligo Projects, assessing barriers and motivation for participation to design appropriate strategies and solutions for patient recruitment, retention, and engagement. In addition, the Senior Director, Patient Support Recruitment & Marketing will develop and oversee Elligo’s Stand-Alone Recruitment solutions managing the Recruitment Project Managers, Enrollment Center and Patient Marketing Team who support the growth of our current and future service lines, and engagement with new and recurring clients. 

Additionally, this position is responsible for regularly reporting on key performance metrics that support business line growth and ROI.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Oversight of Patient Support Recruitment, Marketing & Engagement

  • Provides oversight, leadership, and direction to the      patient services teams.
  • Gives the team the support needed to provide clients      with recruitment, marketing and creative expertise by building, developing      and managing a recruitment & marketing team capable of carrying out      the necessary recruitment & marketing strategies and tactics to      support the scope of services while maintaining project margins. 
  • Manage a marketing team to develop marketing plans and      strategies, tactics, and resources necessary to drive a sophisticated lead      generation program and achieve business goals for each client.
    • Continuously innovate to execute “first in the       industry” marketing tactics to drive growth 
    • Assist with running technologies that support Elligo’s       marketing automation platform, refine automation of inbound lead process       through SalesForce lead generation, and improve automation of analytics       to review key sales data, per campaign
  • Responsible for end-to-end patient recruitment process,      including maintain a feedback loop to ensure learnings from operational      delivery are incorporated into future commercial opportunities
  • Establish and implement short- and long-term goals for      departments
  • Oversee the coordination of several annual conferences      through planning, logistics, & ROI reporting
  • Implementing trainings and educational / conference      opportunities to support employee growth and providing support to each      individual as needed

Public Relations & Communications

  • Optimize a functional team workflow of processes to      efficiently execute marketing tactics and daily tasks between all team      members
  • Supervise the planning and development of client      marketing and communications materials 
  • Consulting and communicating with clients about patient      recruitment advertising and communications strategies, patient enrollment      and engagement objectives, key performance indicators, critical paths,      materials development and approval, and the results of tactical      implementation
  • Drive results through strategic business plan activities      and relationship management, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction      and loyalty 

Strategic Planning and Analysis

  • Strategic leadership of clinical trial campaign teams      and department specialist (e.g. creative, research, production) involved      in development and implementation of patient recruitment advertising      campaigns Report division revenue generated by marketing tactics, and      campaign performance updates to management
  • Manage budgets and project margins on awarded work in      keeping with corporate targets and for Patient Recruitment & marketing      department
  • Ensure the department is keeping up with the advancing      marketing trends, and needs of the industry by researching competitors,      performing industry-related research (e.g. readily available marketing      materials) and identify target markets (e.g. social media, various types      of medium, site by site needs), build relationships, perform in-depth      presentations, strategic analysis and execution of implemented plans
  • Setup, configure and analyze analytics tracking for      cross functional campaigns, user flows and patient recruitments
    • Optimize overall marketing campaign performance &       ROI
    • Conduct thorough research, perform data analysis and       collect feedback to identify and capitalize on opportunities for       enhancing and optimizing the demand and/or lead generation strategy
  • Coordinate with Data Sciences use of EHR searches,      including the impact of searches, metrics and strategic plan in utilizing      the data pulls, and conversion rate of patients in database to enrollment      in studies

Collaboration with Sales Team

  • Development recruitment, retention and engagement      strategies and pricing for new clinical study opportunities and deliver      strategy to clients via multiple communication channels (proposal      documents, presentations slides, video presentation, phone, and in-person      meetings) discussing analysis and recommendations to new and existing      clients
  • Develop proposal language and contractual obligations      specific to recruitment services for new awards, such as set      deliverable/terms; budget details, identification of contractual needs
  • Understand all buyers (site and sponsors) services      offered by Elligo in order to develop effective marketing and sales      techniques designed to reach potential
