Role: HVAC Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager

Location: Ireland

Contract type: Full time, permanent

The Republic of Ireland is a strategic growth market for Carrier Applied HVAC. A dedicated Specification Sales Engineer / Area Sales is required to increase engagement with MEP consultants, secure specifications for Carrier chillers, heat pumps and AHUs, and support growing demand for decarbonisation and energy-efficient building solutions.

What will I be doing?

  • Develop specification sales in ROI for the Carrier range of HVAC equipment including Chillers and Heat Pumps.

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and grow the sales of finished goods as well as related services.

  • Grow the Carrier business by implementing a strategy to gain sales through the M&E contractor & Distributor route and specification through the consultant, main Contractors, and end user clients.

  • Ensuring regular customer contact, travel will be required.

  • Reporting & administration

  • Work in conjunction with the current direct sales teams to gain market share and presence within the allocated sales region.

Requirements

  • Technical knowledge of HVAC industry, in particular hydronic chilled water and heating applications.

  • Strong sales background in HVAC dealing with associated installing contractors, M&E’s and/or specification consultants.

  • Experience of managing your own time and customers, setting targets and monitoring progress.

  • Presentation skills and ability to conduct meetings.

  • Competitor knowledge

  • Strong communication skills

  • UK Driving Licence

  • IT Literate with MS Office skills

Pay Range

The annual salary for this position is between €53,500.00-€107,500.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate. 

Other Compensation

This position may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
