Job description

Remote | Full-TimeSchedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to support our procurement and operations team. This role involves coordinating with suppliers worldwide, tracking shipments, and ensuring orders are delivered on time.

The ideal candidate will be proactive in following up with vendors, managing timelines, and keeping internal teams updated on shipping status and any delays. You will also assist with consolidating shipments, maintaining accurate records, and performing data entry tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow up with international suppliers to ensure timely shipment of orders
  • Track orders and proactively manage delays or issues
  • Communicate shipping updates and timelines with the service team
  • Coordinate and assist with container consolidation
  • Maintain and update internal systems with accurate order and shipment data
  • Perform data entry and ensure records are organized and up to date
  • Monitor supplier performance and maintain clear communication
