Job Title: Construction Estimator

📍 Remote | Full-Time
Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST

We are looking for a detail-oriented Construction Pricing & Proposal Leveling Specialist to support our client's team with reviewing contractor proposals, analyzing pricing, and ensuring bids are properly compared. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of construction processes, bid pricing, and proposal leveling, along with strong skills in Excel and Outlook.

This role involves reviewing subcontractor and vendor proposals, organizing pricing data, and leveling bids to ensure accurate comparisons across contractors. The candidate must be highly organized, analytical, and comfortable working with spreadsheets and construction documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze contractor and subcontractor proposals
  • Perform proposal leveling to compare bids accurately across vendors
  • Identify missing scope items, exclusions, or pricing discrepancies in proposals
  • Organize and maintain pricing data using spreadsheets
  • Create and maintain bid comparison sheets in Excel
  • Communicate with internal teams regarding pricing details and proposal clarifications
  • Maintain organized records of proposals, estimates, and correspondence
  • Support the estimating team with administrative and pricing-related tasks
