Job Title: Traditional Artist / Painter

Remote VA PH is seeking a talented and passionate Traditional Artist/Painter to create original works of art using traditional mediums such as oil, acrylic, watercolor, charcoal, pencil, or mixed media. The ideal candidate should have a strong artistic eye, an understanding of color theory and composition, and the ability to bring concepts to life through hand-rendered techniques.

Work Schedule: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST

Key Responsibilities:

• Create original artwork using traditional techniques and materials (e.g., canvas, paper, paint, charcoal, etc.)
• Develop sketches, concepts, and final pieces based on client briefs or personal inspiration
• Collaborate with clients, designers, or creative teams to ensure artwork aligns with vision and requirements
• Maintain a consistent artistic style or adapt to different styles as needed
• Prepare canvases and surfaces, mix paints, and maintain studio materials and tools
• Exhibit or display artworks in galleries, art shows, or online platforms
• Take on commissions and custom artwork requests from clients
• Stay updated on trends in the art world and incorporate new ideas into your work

Requirements

• Proven experience as a traditional artist or painter, with a portfolio of completed works
• Proficiency in one or more traditional art mediums (oil, acrylic, watercolor, etc.)
• Strong understanding of composition, perspective, color, and anatomy
• Attention to detail and excellent craftsmanship
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
