This is an exciting time for Tris as we grow our sales force in support of our expanding ADHD portfolio. Our National Sales force is made up of field-based representatives throughout the US serving as a direct link between the company and health care providers (HCPs) and clients. We have a unique opportunity available for an Associate Sales Representative or Pharma Sales Representative – title commensurate with experience. This territory consists of Cincinnati, Dayton and the surrounding area. Qualified candidates must live within territory.

This is a field-based position requiring 100% travel.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

  • Adheres to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, processes and compliance guidelines and ensures knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements to appropriately respond to sales inquires, disseminate scientific information and report Adverse Events (AEs) and Product Quality Complaints (PQCs)


  • Conducts office visits to establish, develop and maintain successful business partnerships with targeted health care providers (HCPs) and staffs within assigned geographical territory; Increases awareness through appropriate scientific information and educational programs to medical professionals 


  • Collaborates closely with Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to establish/execute a specific and integrated action plan for assigned region in order to achieve defined territory and sales goals; Clearly understands and implements sales and marketing strategies/plans to obtain sales objectives for assigned products; Assists in market development efforts and identifying new prescriber opportunities 


  • Supports product promotion activities for company portfolio of branded products and delivers approved messaging and materials with professionalism, accuracy and compliance; Documents all field activity in Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) and manages territory metrics, as required; Attends team meetings, training sessions, and ride-alongs for ongoing development


Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS 


ASSOCIATE SALES REP 

  • Bachelors degree or higher education REQUIRED 
  • Demonstrated interest in sales, healthcare or business development with self-motivated/competitive spirit and eagerness to learn REQUIRED
  • Strong presentation skills REQUIRED 
  • Ability to quickly learn, understand and effectively communicate scientific and medical information to external customers REQUIRED
  • Analytical thinking with problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines REQUIRED
  • Planning, organization and time management skills including the ability to support and prioritize multiple projects REQUIRED
  • Valid US drivers license and clean driving record REQUIRED
  • Prior experience in a leadership or leadership development-based role (i.e., industry, collegiate, athletic, military, etc.) PREFERRED
  • Prior experience in a sales or management development program PREFERRED 



PHARMACEUTICAL SALES REP

  • Bachelors degree or higher education and minimum 1 year sales experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, business to business (B2B), capital equipment, medical device and/or related industry REQUIRED 
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and successfully and independently growing and managing a territory REQUIRED
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex sales and technical data and to develop strategic and actionable business plans REQUIRED
  • Experience conducting successful consultative, solutions-oriented sales calls REQUIRED
  • Excellent presentation skills and experience REQUIRED
  • Ability to quickly learn, understand and effectively communicate scientific and medical information to external customers REQUIRED
  • Scientific and business acumen REQUIRED
  • Valid US drivers license and clean driving record REQUIRED  


Anticipated salary range:  

Associate Sales Rep - $ 65,000 to $ 85,000/yr. 

Pharma Sales Rep - $ 90,000 to $105,000/yr

Base salary and title offered is contingent on assessment of candidate’s education and experience level relative to requirements of the position and a review of related industry standards and internal equity.
