JOB TITLE: FINANCE DIRECTOR

JOB SUMMARY: The Financial Director is primarily responsible for providing direct oversight to employees in multiple departments surrounding Accounting, Billing and Finance. The Finance Director takes special interest in the processes, procedures and outcomes surrounding fiscal operations for the company. The Finance Director is solely responsible for reporting quantitative data to the CEO, Executive Board and relative governing authorities or bodies. The Finance Director also takes responsibility for employees within the afore mentioned departments providing guidance, structure, discipline and evaluation.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Follow Willapa Behavioral Health & Wellness Service Excellence Standards / Code of Ethics and Policies and Procedures.
1. Adhere to rules of confidentiality.
2. Respect and accommodate a diverse population.
3. Maintain appropriate boundaries with clients and staff.
4. Work on-site as necessary or remotely using telehealth technology as determined by management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Conduct financial audits, assessments, reviews and evaluations of company fiscal data, as well as fiscal processes and procedures implementing changes to improve efficiency, or effectiveness.
2. Devise and implement achievable short and long term goals for the departments under the Finance Directorβs oversight.
3. Evaluate employee overall job performance on a semi annual and annual basis, as well as providing regular feedback on job performance to correct issues as they happen.
4. Provide accurate metrics and breakdowns of fiscal data, gaps in funding, revenue, etc. to the CEO and any other relevant bodies (to include but not limited to state and federal).
5. Provide guidance and continuous advisory support throughout the implementation of new or redesigned processes.
6. Implement clear succession planning, to include advertising, reviewing resumes of applicants, interviewing and selection of candidates.
7. Provide specific and clear training to bridge knowledge gaps within the various departments the Finance Director oversees.
