Location: Toulouse, France

Job Purpose:

Responsible for managing and coordinating technical support operations across technical projects, ensuring system readiness, regulatory compliance, and effective resolution of technical issues to enable successful mission delivery.

Responsibilities:

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Act as the technical liaison between project management, engineering, and operations teams.

Facilitate knowledge transfer and documentation of technical processes and support protocols.

Support internal reviews, audits, and technical readiness assessments.

Technical Project Coordination

Lead the coordination of technical support activities across engineering, systems, and operations teams.

Translate technical requirements into actionable support plans aligned with project milestones.

Ensure timely resolution of technical issues impacting project delivery.

Systems and Infrastructure Support

Oversee the maintenance and performance of mission-critical systems, including satellite ground stations, telemetry systems, and integration labs.

Coordinate upgrades, testing, and troubleshooting of hardware and software systems.

Ensure system readiness for mission phases such as integration, testing, and launch.

Risk and Issue Management

Identify and escalate technical risks and issues, ensuring mitigation strategies are implemented.

Maintain a technical issue log and track resolution progress in collaboration with engineering leads.

Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.

Compliance and Standards

Ensure all technical support activities comply with SANSA regulations, ECSS standards, and internal quality frameworks.

Maintain accurate records of technical interventions, system changes, and support actions.

Resource and Tool Management

Manage technical support tools, diagnostic equipment, and software licenses.

Coordinate internal training on support tools and systems to build team capability.

Reporting and Communication

Provide regular updates on technical support status, risks, and performance metrics to project stakeholders.

Prepare technical documentation, support reports, and post-mission reviews.

Support Readiness and Testing

Lead technical support readiness for key project phases, including integration, environmental testing, and launch campaigns.

Coordinate simulations and dry runs to validate support procedures and team preparedness.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field

Required Experience:

Technical Project Management

Minimum 5 years’ experience managing technical projects in engineering, aerospace, IT infrastructure, or systems integration.

Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex technical solutions on time and within budget.

Space or Aerospace Sector Exposure

Experience in space engineering, satellite systems, payload integration, or ground station operations is highly valued.

Familiarity with space-grade testing environments, mission support systems, and launch coordination.

Compliance and Documentation

Experience working within regulated environments, including SANSA, ISO, or ECSS standards.

Skilled in preparing and managing technical documentation, support logs, and compliance reports.

Software and Tools Proficiency

Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, ClickUp) and technical platforms (e.g., MATLAB, STK, SolidWorks).

Experience with ERP systems and technical reporting tools.

Stakeholder and Vendor Coordination

Experience managing relationships with internal teams, external vendors, and international partners.

Ability to translate technical requirements into actionable plans and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.

Recommendations:

Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) is advantageous
