Senior Conversational AI Lead

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a Senior Conversational AI Lead with strong technical depth and hands-on leadership experience in enterprise chatbot, voicebot and Generative AI solutions.

This is a senior role for someone who can guide architecture decisions, support delivery teams and help bring scalable Conversational AI solutions from design into production. You should be comfortable combining software engineering, AI platforms, cloud-native architecture and technical leadership.

Role overview

You will lead the design and delivery of enterprise Conversational AI solutions, including chatbots, voicebots and GenAI-powered assistants. The role requires both hands-on technical contribution and the ability to provide direction to developers, architects and delivery teams.

You will work on solutions involving Conversational AI platforms, Azure OpenAI, LLM integrations, RAG, semantic search, NLP/NLU and cloud-native architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architecture and technical design for enterprise chatbot, voicebot and GenAI solutions.
  
• Support delivery teams in building scalable Conversational AI solutions from concept to production.
  
• Provide hands-on technical leadership across solution design, development, integration and deployment.
  
• Work with platforms such as Cognigy or Dialogflow CAI.
  
• Design and implement GenAI use cases using Azure OpenAI, LLMs, RAG and semantic search.
  
• Integrate Conversational AI solutions with business systems and enterprise environments.
  
• Define and improve engineering best practices for Conversational AI delivery.
  
• Mentor developers and guide technical decision-making.
  
• Ensure solutions are production-ready, scalable, maintainable and aligned with enterprise standards.
  
• Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale chatbot, voicebot or Conversational AI solutions.
  
• Strong hands-on background in software development.
  
• Experience with Conversational AI platforms such as Cognigy, Dialogflow CAI or similar.
  
• Practical experience with Generative AI, LLMs, Azure OpenAI, RAG and semantic search.
  
• Strong understanding of NLP/NLU concepts.
  
• Experience with Python and/or JavaScript.
  
• Experience designing cloud-native or enterprise-grade AI architectures.
  
• Ability to lead technical discussions and make architecture decisions.
  
• Experience mentoring developers or supporting delivery teams.
  
• Clear communication skills and professional English.
  

Nice to have

• Experience with voicebot implementations.
  
• Experience integrating AI solutions into complex enterprise systems.
  
• Experience working in fast-paced delivery environments.
  
• Background in consulting, enterprise delivery or large-scale digital transformation projects.
  
• Previous experience as AI Architect, Conversational AI Architect, Tech Lead or Solution Lead.
