Position Summary:
As a Senior UI Engineer at scnd, you will be a vital part of our mission to transform e-commerce for services. You will design the front-end architecture for our new web app, integrate with APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Your role involves ensuring code quality, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical leadership, including mentoring junior developers. Additionally, you'll deploy and maintain applications using Kubernetes for scalability and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
Design of the front end architecture for our new web applicationIntegration with back end Restful APIs and other third party APIsCollaborate with product managers, designers and other developers to identify requirements and implement an extensible UI architectureImplement automated testing ensuring code qualityFamiliarity with agile methodologies and software development lifecyclesWrite clean, efficient and maintainable codeTroubleshoot and debug production and development environment issuesMentor junior developers and provide technical leadership to the teamDeploy and maintain applications using Kubernetes.
Requirements
At least 7 years of experience in developing web applications using React, Vue and/or SolidJsExperience with signals and reactive programmingExperience with Tailwind cssExpert in Typescript and JavacriptSolid understanding of software development principles and design patternsExperience with GitStrong communication skills, ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, able to interface with external partnersFluency in English
