We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Executive to drive business growth across the UK and US accounting markets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating qualified leads, and building strong relationships with accounting firms and businesses. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to sales, and the ability to engage international clients through multiple outreach channels.

As a Business Development Executive, you will work closely with sales and marketing teams to expand the client base, nurture prospective customers, and contribute to revenue growth. Candidates with exposure to accounting outsourcing, bookkeeping, taxation, or financial services will have a distinct advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate qualified leads through LinkedIn, email campaigns, cold calling, networking, and other business development channels.
  • Engage with accounting firms, finance professionals, and businesses across the UK and US markets to identify potential opportunities.
  • Schedule discovery meetings and sales appointments for senior business development and sales teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients through regular follow-ups and personalized communication.
  • Prepare professional proposals, presentations, introductory emails, and sales materials tailored to client requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, customer interactions, and sales activities within the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to execute lead generation campaigns and improve outreach effectiveness.
  • Research target organizations, industry trends, and key decision-makers to support strategic business development initiatives.
  • Understand client business challenges and communicate suitable service offerings that align with their requirements.
  • Consistently achieve lead generation and business development targets while maintaining high-quality customer engagement.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to strengthen business growth strategies.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 1–3 years of experience in Business Development, Lead Generation, or International Sales.
  • Experience working with the UK or US accounting industry, accounting outsourcing, KPO, bookkeeping, taxation, or related financial services is highly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage international clients confidently.
  • Proven experience in LinkedIn outreach, email marketing, cold calling, and lead generation activities.
  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and sales pipeline management.
  • Basic understanding of accounting concepts, bookkeeping, taxation, or financial terminology is an added advantage.
  • Strong research and analytical skills to identify business opportunities and target decision-makers.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple prospects simultaneously.
