Job description

About this role:

The Website Security Specialist is responsible for the proactive defense, rapid incident response, and the technical infrastructure for the entire PetDesk website portfolio. This role bridges the gap between Website Operations, Website Support, and Information Security, ensuring that every site - from initial build to long-term maintenance - is resilient against evolving threats. Ultimately, your goal is to eliminate vulnerabilities before they can be exploited and to lead the charge during security events.

  • Proven track record of proactive threat hunting and maintaining Indicators of Compromise (IoCs)
  • Experience leading security incident response, including containment and post-mortem review
  • Familiarity with digital compliance standards such as GDPR and CPRA.
  • Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable advice for non-technical teams
  • Relevant certifications such as CEH, Security+, OSCP or SSCP are highly desirable
