Job Description:

Facilitates development and execution of the virtual strategy and roadmap with a focus on ambulatory virtual services. Implements, champions, monitors and oversees the virtual program utilization, internal and external customer relationships, stakeholder relations, goals, and objectives. Leads the adoption, coordination, implementation, development and revision of new or existing virtual projects by collaborating with clinical and operational leaders.

Principle Responsibilities

  • Facilitates Development and Execution of Virtual Strategy.
    • Works jointly with leadership to develop virtual strategy.
    • Implement virtual strategy and develop road map approved by executive leadership.
    • Collaborates with clinical service line executives to understand and deliver virtual needs.
    • Collaborates on business development plans for system-wide virtual services.
    • Leads cross-functional working groups, including physicians and leaders from key areas to evaluate concepts and solutions for clinical care using virtual offerings.
    • Collaborates with providers and operational leaders on the development and growth of virtual services across the organization.
    • Collaborates with clinical teams to ensure virtual services are developed with financial and quality measures.
  • Virtual Outreach Strategy Execution.
    • Collaborates with clinical service lines to develop virtual strategy to meet organizational goals and initiatives.
    • Completes billing activities for contracted services.
  • Facilitates Development and Execution of Asynchronous Strategy
    • Works with partners to develop and sustain asynchronous products for the organization.
    • Manage operations of asynchronous offerings.
  • Support Digital Strategy for Organization
    • Coordination of efforts with Digital Team and IS.
    • Collaborate with the system leaders to ensure consistent implementation of best practices.
    • Support organizational digital initiatives.
  • Vendor and Policy Oversight.
    • Evaluates trends in virtual, informing, and guiding the organization’s virtual strategy.
    • Works with vendors, contractors, technical experts, and customers for purposes of providing and gathering information, negotiations, and collaboration in support of virtual offerings.
    • Ensures reimbursement, licensing, state and federal laws, payer policies and practices focused on virtual are implemented, while collaborating with system office experts. Act as policy advocate for virtual
    • related needs.
    • Ensures system wide virtual policies are developed, reviewed, approved and communicated.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 7+ years experience in health care operations or technology
  • 5+ years Leadership experience


Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters Degree In business, public health or hospital administration

Pay Range

Pay Range: $68.73 to $95.09 per hour

The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience and education. Additional incentives may be available, including discretionary monetary bonuses, goal-based bonuses, and other financial incentives.
