The role is a revenue generating, customer-facing position responsible for driving measurable financial and operational outcomes through expert-level consultation, system optimization, and workflow design. Customers include behavioral health organizations, CCBHCs, FQHCs, inpatient and outpatient providers, and managed care organizations (MCOs). As a trusted advisor, the Professional Services Consultant will leverage subject matter expertise to navigate complex environments, think critically in real time, and deliver strategic and tactical solutions that improve revenue performance and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities of the Professional Services Consultant - RCM

  • Deliver high-quality, revenue generating, consulting services focused on end-to-end revenue cycle optimization, including front-end, mid-cycle, and back-end processes
  • Analyze customer workflows, financial performance, and system utilization to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement
  • Provide strategic recommendations and hands-on guidance to enhance billing efficiency, reduce denials, and accelerate cash flow
  • Act as a trusted advisor and SME, offering white‑glove service tailored to each customer’s operational maturity and regulatory awareness.
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Support, Product, and Implementation teams to ensure alignment and successful outcomes
  • Lead or support onsite and remote engagements, including optimization projects, assessments, and training sessions
  • Remain up to date on product functionality and actively engage customers to leverage system features for optimal success
  • Configure and optimize EHR/RCM systems to align with best practices
  • Develop and deliver customer-facing documentation, reports, and presentations that clearly communicate findings and recommendations
  • Support customers in navigating payer requirements, regulatory compliance, and evolving reimbursement models
  • Manage multiple engagements simultaneously while meeting revenue and customer satisfaction targets
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver customer-facing training, presentations, and webinars, translating complex RCM concepts into practical, actionable guidance tailored to diverse audiences
  • Ability to participate or lead user groups, customer forums, or knowledge-sharing sessions, fostering collaboration, sharing best practices, and driving adoption of optimized workflows

Requirements of the Vice President of Customer Support

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in Business or other related field; or 5+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management, in healthcare services, preferably within behavioral health.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet and adapt quickly

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Proven ability to manage client relationships in a billable services environment
