Job Summary:
Process customer purchase orders to meet customer and company commitments. Strive to continually improve the level of customer satisfaction through timely and efficient order processing.

What You Will Do:
Manage service / support interactions with customers by shaping the customer expectations, delivering on those expectations and deepening customer loyalty via incoming/outgoing calls, emails, and requests.
Understand the basic profile of the customers, and their most common needs and expectations. Tailor the support approach to fit particular customers and/or situations within established guidelines.
Act as a customer advocate to other internal departments of Allegion.
Communicate directly with channel partners using a variety of communication tools to identify and resolve issues and inquiries including order status, order expediting and tracking, change orders, document reprints, returns, credits, warranty, price and availability, and other general product inquiries as needed.
Complete troubleshooting and subsequent documentation on return and warranty claims and escalate as necessary. Gather and document service request information through the effective use of CRM tools.
Utilize and manage all appropriate ERP business systems for assigned product bands. Work with internal departments including factory liaisons to ensure timely and accurate information. Process time sensitive orders and requests.
Receive, edit, and enter incoming customer purchase orders in an accurate and timely manner. Review, verify and make corrections as necessary to ensure accurate information and order specifications. Contact customers to resolve unclear order issues.
Manage orders in the business system through the entire order cycle. Gather data for measurement, analysis and reporting.
Meet all service level agreements as set by management.
Ability to perform in a team environment.
Additional duties as assigned by manager.
What You Need to Succeed:
2+ years customer support or service experience
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Product Knowledge:
Knowing basic product and features for assigned brands/product category(ies) and being able to identify and/or communicate basic work order management functions (e.g. indexing, First Review) product and features for Allegion brands.
Customer Focus:
Understanding basic customer needs and expectations. Providing prompt and effective support/resolution to customers' orders and/or service requests.
Work Leader:
Prioritizing and organizing work effectively. Managing multiple service requests.
Collaboration:
Team Player, Working with Sales Order Support Representatives, sales and other functions effectively in a virtual setting.
Creative Problem Solver:
Handling customer complaints and objections effectively. Maintain excellent relationships. Identify recurring customer issues across brands/products.
Personal Effectiveness:
Listening to and understanding customers and providing information in a clear and customer focused manner (written and verbal). Maintaining a positive, customer focused attitude, even in challenging situations. Being able to analyze problems, consider alternative solutions and make decisions quickly. Demonstrating consistency between actions and words. Building trusting relationships and modeling professional behaviors and competencies.
Other Specific Requirements:
Ability to work in a cross functional, virtually managed, collaborative team setting. Self-motivated learner and relationship builder. Effective communication both verbal and written utilizing various forms of technology (phone, email, web, etc.)

Compensation: This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.
· The expected Base Salary Range: $36,400 to $60,000. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
