IT AI Architect - 100% Remote

Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT AI Architect - Remote position with a Global Manufacturing Company. This is a 6 month contract to hire opportunity.

Compensation: $105.50 - $115.50 per hour, W2, based on experience and qualifications

Position Overview:
The IT AI Architect is responsible for helping to define and support the organization's Artificial Intelligence (AI) strategy, architecture, and implementation roadmap across enterprise, manufacturing, and corporate functions. The AI Architect will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology partners to ensure AI solutions deliver business value while meeting security and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate will design scalable AI platforms, establish governance frameworks, and help drive the adoption of Generative AI, Machine Learning (ML), and intelligent automation.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the company's AI vision, roadmap, and architecture strategy
• Support AI opportunities across manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and corporate functions
• Define AI reference architectures, integration standards, and reusable design patterns
• Design scalable AI platforms supporting cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments
• Ensure AI solutions comply with NIST, CMMC, ITAR, and corporate security standards
• Partner with Data Engineering teams to establish enterprise AI data foundations
• Drive AI-enabled transformation initiatives, including demand forecasting and production scheduling optimization
• Lead the deployment of Generative AI solutions and enterprise copilots
• Collaborate with Security and Compliance teams to define AI security architecture and controls
• Mentor architects, engineers, and business stakeholders on AI best practices

Core Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
• 5+ years of IT architecture, enterprise architecture, or solution architecture experience
• Experience leading AI, analytics, or machine learning initiatives
• Experience within manufacturing or industrial operations
• Proven experience implementing enterprise AI platforms and governance frameworks
• Knowledge of AI & Machine Learning concepts including Generative AI Platforms, AI Agents, and Machine Learning
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure AI and Azure OpenAI
• Familiarity with Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and Data Governance Solutions
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles including Identity Management and Data Protection Controls

Desired Skills:

• Experience with automation technologies
