Job description

About the role:

As Offshore Superintendent, you are responsible for completing the works on board. You organise the work in such a way that the required standards and procedures regarding safety and quality are respected.

What you’ll do:

Your duties in a nutshell:

  • You are responsible for the execution of our offshore works (stone dumping, cable laying, placing foundations and turbines for offshore wind farms,...).
  • You monitor the daily output of the works.
  • In case of deviations from the planning, you help to find the cause and adjust the method if necessary.
  • Between projects, you are involved in the preparation of our offshore works.
  • You report regularly to Project Management and to head office in Aalst.

What do you need to have?

  • You have a Master's degree in Civil or Industrial Engineering.
  • You have strong organizational skills and you like to lead a project in the right direction.
  • You have a high degree of independence and can work autonomously.
  • You have a strong interest in the offshore sector.
  • You work partly on board or from the project offices abroad and you are willing to work regularly at head office in Belgium (depending on the works being carried out).
  • You are flexible and stress-resistant.
