Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Remote Electrician Estimator / Pre-Construction Support Specialist to join our team. In this critical role, you will own the pre-construction administrative lifecycle and perform accurate material takeoffs that directly impact project profitability. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical background and extensive experience estimating electrical projects for the U.S. market. Working directly within the existing workflows, you will streamline vendor outreach, manage project documentation, and help scale the company’s bidding capacity.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed material and quantity takeoffs from plans and specifications, specifically focusing on panel & service upgrades, EV charger installations, generator installations, and general electrical maintenance.

  • Manage pre-construction administrative duties, including comprehensive bid preparation, compiling submittal packages, managing RFIs, and tracking electrical code revisions.

  • Review project documentation thoroughly to identify missing information, flag potential discrepancies, and clarify scope before formal submission.

  • Lead vendor outreach and subcontractor coordination to source accurate pricing, compile material quotes, and clarify project scopes.

  • Track active bid invitations, maintain the estimating pipeline, and ensure all submissions meet strict project deadlines.

  • Maintain a high-volume bidding cadence, efficiently managing data and documentation within the team's existing systems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in electrical estimating, with a proven track record of handling commercial and industrial electrical projects for U.S.-based contractors.

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or professional background in Civil Engineering or a closely related technical field.

  • Core Expertise: Demonstrated mastery of electrical takeoffs, material counting, and labor-hour assessment.

  • End-to-End Bid Support: Solid understanding of the pre-construction pipeline—from initial plan review and vendor quote compilation to submittals and post-award administrative workflows.

  • Communication & Alignment: Exceptional, fully fluent English communication skills (written and verbal) for seamless internal collaboration and professional vendor outreach.

  • Schedule: Ability to work full-time hours strictly matching the US Eastern Time Zone (EST).
