We provide full-service engineering and design services for both new and existing facilities. WHO YOU ARE
- You are an experienced fire protection engineer with a proven ability to deliver high-quality design and lead projects. You have a bachelor’s degree in fire protection, mechanical, or architectural engineering and six to ten years of fire protection design experience.
- A PE license is strongly preferred (or you are actively working toward licensure if not already obtained).
- You know buildings deeply. You have advanced knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and loss prevention practices, and you apply that knowledge to solve complex design challenges across a variety of project types.
- You are highly proficient with relevant engineering tools. You are comfortable working independently in AutoCAD and Revit and are experienced in producing and reviewing design deliverables.
- You’re a strong communicator and collaborator. You take ownership of your work, guide others, and contribute to a positive team environment.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- You’ll lead fire protection engineering design efforts. You’ll independently prepare drawings, specifications, calculations, and system layouts, including equipment schedules, pipe sizing, and pump sizing.
- You’ll own project delivery. You’ll lead or support multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring technical accuracy, coordination, and adherence to schedule and budget.
- You’ll review and mentor. You’ll review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and provide guidance to junior engineers to support their development.
- You’ll engage in the field. You’ll perform site visits, system evaluations, and construction observations, and provide solutions to field-related challenges.
- You’ll maintain and elevate quality. You’ll ensure proper documentation, QA/QC practices, and code compliance across all project deliverables.
- You’ll build relationships. You’ll communicate directly with clients, represent the firm in meetings, and help foster long-term partnerships.

Starting salary is between $90,000 – $110,000 based on skills and qualifications, with the high end of the range limited to applicants based on relevant years of experience.
