JOB SUMMARY:

As an IT Support Technician, you will provide essential technical support across a variety of IT functions, including end-user assistance, troubleshooting, system maintenance, and the implementation of departmental initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide IT technical support to employees and customers
  • Utilize a ticketing system for support
  • Keep up-to-date documentation of hardware and software assets
  • Specify, order, and configure IT equipment such as PC’s, servers, switches, and routers
  • Develop and deploy standardized computer images and software packages
  • Maintain Active Directory objects and Global Policy Objects (GPO)
  • Support Microsoft 365 cloud services (Exchange, Onedrive, Sharepoint, Teams)
  • Identify, propose, and implement efficiency gaining projects/initiatives

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This position involves working in an office environment with extensive use of keyboard, monitor, mouse, and other IT peripheral equipment. Occasional moving heavy computer equipment (up to 50-lbs) may be required.

POSITION TYPE AND HOURS

  • This is a full-time, exempt position. Typical work days are Monday-Friday
  • This position is non-remote, in person, office work environment at our Renton location

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

  • Annual base salary ranges from $65,000 - $80,000 depending on experience

CREDENTIALS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Associate degree or higher in Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or certifications)
  • 4–5 years of professional experience in IT support or a related technical role
  • Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows operating systems
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience in a help desk or technical support role
  • Experience managing Windows Active Directory infrastructure
  • Working knowledge of computer systems, mobile devices, and related IT products
