Overview:
LOS Administrator
Location: Remote
Department: Lending
JG Wentworth’s loan business has grown rapidly over the last two years, and we’re building the team to sustain that momentum. We are seeking an analytical, problem-solving LOS Administrator to own the configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our Loan Origination System (LOS) — a no-code/low-code platform where new loan products and workflows are built through configuration rather than custom development.
This is as much a product management/business analyst role as a system administration role. You’ll build out new products as the business needs them, investigate issues to their root cause, and use analytics to drive smarter decisions across the Lending team. Strong analytical ability is essential; prior LOS experience is not required.
Responsibilities:
Product Build-Out & System Configuration
- Build out new loan products end to end in our no-code/low-code LOS — configuring workflows, decision rules, fee structures, document templates, disclosures, and notifications across the loan lifecycle (application, underwriting, approval, funding).
- Translate new product and process requirements into working system configuration, then test in lower environments, coordinate UAT, and deploy with appropriate change controls and rollback plans.
- Maintain existing configuration — workflows, user roles and permissions, and audit controls — and support releases, system upgrades, and vendor patches.
- Maintain and troubleshoot integrations between the LOS and connected systems (credit bureaus, e-sign, funding rails, CRM, and the data warehouse).
- Keep configuration documentation, data dictionaries, and change logs current so the system stays well-understood and auditable.
Analytics & Problem Solving
- Serve as the primary analyst for system and process issues: triage incoming requests and defects, conduct root cause analysis, and clearly distinguish symptoms from underlying causes before recommending a fix.
- Analyze process and system data to surface inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and failure points; quantify the impact and recommend prioritized, actionable solutions.
- Use SQL to extract and validate data from Snowflake and other internal systems to support investigations, reconciliation, and product/performance analysis.
- Build and maintain reporting and dashboards that monitor system health, product performance, and key operational metrics.
- Partner with Operations, Funding, Underwriting, QA/QC, and Compliance to gather requirements, map current-state processes, and translate business needs into clear configuration specifications with defined acceptance criteria.
Qualifications:
- 3–6 years in an analytics-focused operations, business analysis, or systems-configuration role.
- Experience in unsecured/consumer lending, debt resolution, or fintech, preferred.
- Strong analytical skills are essential — you’re comfortable working with data to investigate problems, measure impact, and support decisions.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability: requirements gathering, process mapping, and structured root cause analysis.
- Aptitude for learning and configuring a no-code/low-code platform — you enjoy building and don’t need a developer to ship a change.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and validation preferred; experience with Snowflake or similar databases preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data modeling.
- Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to translate between business stakeholders and system configuration.
- High attention to detail and disciplined change-management habits.
