Job Summary
Manages strategic relationships with existing and potential key consumer accounts — including retailers, distributors, and online platforms — to drive profitable, achieve sales targets and strengthen customer relationships. Develops strategic plans to grow account revenue and market share. Coordinates cross-functional teams to deliver tailored customer programs, promotions, and product launches that support business objectives and enhance the consumer experience.
Key Areas of Responsibility
• Develops and maintains strong, trust-based relationships with key consumer accounts across traditional trade, modern retail, and online channels, ensuring long-term customer satisfaction and business growth.
• Achieves sales, revenue, and profitability targets for assigned accounts or channel portfolios.
• Negotiates contracts and terms of agreements to maximize profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction. Unlocks additional account value by improving distribution terms, securing strategic agreements, and increasing share of wallet within each customer.
• Maintains an in-depth understanding of the customer strategy and defines an account strategy that drives profitable high growth opportunities for Signify as well as operationally managing the execution. Monitors market dynamics, and shopper behavior to identify new growth opportunities.
• Responsible for developing and executing a Strategic Account Management vision/plan to enable profitable growth of Signify business with the account. Accountable for entire business with the named account.
• Establishes and nurtures professional relationships with key stakeholders in assigned accounts to position Signify as a trusted partner and negotiates contracts to maximize profitability.
• Defines and leads actions in the accounts, aligning the support across cross-functional Signify teams (e.g. Channel Marketing, Product Marketing, Order Desk, Customer Satisfaction etc.) with the objective of meeting account performance objectives and customer’s expectations.
• Collaborates with product development and marketing teams to tailor offerings and drives continuous improvement initiatives by gathering client feedback and implementing solutions.

• Monitors performance, competition, market trends, tracking and analyzing sales (sell in - sell out) performance, including sales metrics, customer satisfaction, and other relevant KPIs. Manages accuracy of forecast and prepares detailed reports to inform decision-making
• Takes ownership of continuous learning and development, staying current on emerging consumer trends, digital commerce tools, and sales excellence practices to maximize channel performance.
• Leads or contributes to category management discussions to position Signify as a preferred partner and innovation leader at point of sale.
• Unlocks new business opportunities by building and leveraging solid network of contacts within consumer market.
• Effectively manages complex dynamics within the cross-functional customer team & Signify partners.
• Develops and executes locally the global account strategy and agreements reached between Signify and customer at international level.
Critical Experiences
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is required to provide foundational knowledge for strategic account management and customer relationship building.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in key account management or sales roles within the consumer sector, demonstrating proven success in managing complex accounts and driving profitable growth. Professional experience developing thriving, long-term relationships within the consumer channel
• No specific licenses required; however, certifications in Strategic Account Management or Sales Management are advantageous for validating expertise in managing key accounts effectively.
