- Our client is Asia's leading web3 venture studio focusing on DeFi projects

Responsibilities

- Designing, building and deploying smart contracts to create high performance, low latency user-facing products for the portfolio companies

- Writing clean, gas optimized, and reusable smart contract and protocol code in Solidity

- Collaborating with product managers to innovate and develop user-facing features based on market trends and competitive analyses

- Scoping complex features and work closely with designers and fellow engineers to execute implementation, testing, and deployment

- Participating in code review and writing rigorous test suites to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to best practices

Requirements

- 5+ (for senior role) / 2+  ο»Ώ(ο»Ώfor junior role) years of experience in software engineering with solid, demonstrable work on Github or otherwise

- Shipped a product to mainnet using Solidity

- Ability to ship code using test-driven development

- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git

- Awareness of engineering best practices for fintech products and DeFi protocols

- Problem-solving skills, an analytical mindset, and good judgment

Preferred

- A Bachelors or professional degree in STEM field

- Knowledge or expertise in Node.js, React/React Native, gas optimization and basic knowledge of encryption and cryptography

- Deep understanding of financial products in a web3 context

- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle, including engineering, design, UI, UX and QA
