Position: Marketing Content Associate

About the Role:

We’re seeking a creative, empathetic, and highly skilled Marketing Content Associate to join our growing team at our company. As our content champion, you will help bring our brand to life through storytelling that informs, inspires, and converts.

In this pivotal role, you’ll craft high-impact content across digital channels that empowers first-time homebuyers, supports our mission of financial inclusion, and helps drive measurable growth in user sign-ups and partner engagement. Tasks required:

  • Develop and implement a content strategy aligned with growth and brand goals.

  • Create a variety of compelling content formats, including:

    • Blog Articles: SEO-driven pieces that demystify financial readiness, homeownership, and mortgage processes.

    • Web Copy: Clear, concise, and persuasive landing pages and product messaging.

    • Social Media Posts: Platform-specific content that educates and engages across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and more.

    • Email Campaigns: Drip sequences, newsletters, and partner communications that nurture leads and drive engagement.

    • Video Scripts: Scripts and storyboards for testimonials, explainers, and educational shorts.

    • Sales & Partner Assets: One-pagers, presentations, and case studies that support business development and co-marketing.

  • Tailor content for key segments, including:

    • First-time homebuyers

    • Individuals denied mortgage applications

    • Realtors and lenders

    • Community organizations

  • Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to boost organic visibility.

  • Continuously monitor and optimize content based on performance data.

  • Maintain a cohesive brand tone across all content assets, ensuring clarity, empathy, and trustworthiness.

  • Own and manage a content calendar to ensure regular, timely delivery of fresh content across platforms.

  • Track content performance using analytics tools.

  • Report on key metrics such as engagement, conversions, traffic, and user growth to inform future content strategy.

  • Partner with growth, product, and leadership teams to align content with broader campaigns, feature launches, and strategic goals.



Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or related field.

  • Minimum 4 years of content marketing or editorial experience with a proven track record of creating high-performing content.

  • Fintech Knowledge: Must have experience in fintech, financial services, or personal finance platforms you understand the unique regulatory, emotional, and educational nuances involved.

  • AI Proficient: Familiar with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, GrammarlyGO, Notion AI) and how to integrate them into your workflow to scale without sacrificing quality.

  • Experience with content management systems (e.g., Webflow, WordPress).

  • Familiarity with email platforms like Mailchimp or HubSpot.

  • Basic knowledge of the mortgage or real estate industry.

  • Fintech or Startup Fluent: You've worked in a startup or fintech setting and understand how to write for trust, clarity, and compliance.

  • Empathetic Storyteller: You can connect with people through authentic, human-centered content.

  • SEO-Driven: You know how to create content that ranks and converts.

  • Audience-Centric: You tailor messaging to different user needs and emotional drivers.

  • Self-Starter: You take initiative, manage multiple content streams, and deliver high-quality work with minimal oversight.

  • Detail-Oriented: You catch errors others miss and ensure brand consistency at every level.
