FSC Compliance Specialist

Job Title: FSC Compliance Specialist 

Working hours: 10 hours/week

Time zone: AEST

Tasks:

• Take charge of controlling and managing the paperwork required for FSC certification
• Ensure compliance with FSC standards, principles, and chain-of-custody procedures throughout the certification process
• Collaborate closely with other factories to align their operations with FSC requirements
• Provide guidance and support to factory managers and workers on implementing FSC procedures
• Maintain accurate records, track progress, and organize documentation for audits and inspections
• Stay up to date with the latest developments and changes in FSC procedures and standards
• Other ad hoc tasks to be assigned

Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of FSC procedures and standards, including chain-of-custody requirements
• Experience in managing the documentation and paperwork for FSC certification
• Strong understanding of sustainable forestry practices and responsible sourcing
• Excellent organizational and administrative skills with keen attention to detail
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work closely with other factories
• Proactive mindset with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
