Job description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Deskside Support Technician with 2 to 4 years of experience in supporting PC hardware and software. The ideal candidate will be comfortable providing hands-on support for servers and networks, and have experience with mobile data plans, networks, and devices.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems, hardware, and peripherals.
Document, maintain, upgrade, or replace hardware and software systems.
Support and maintain user account information, including rights, security, and systems groups.
Train employees, identify, analyze, and repair product failures, and order and replace parts as needed.
Resolve network connection issues and track connections back to network switches.
Escalate unresolved problems and issues to higher-level support.
Provide physical support for customer computer systems, including lifting up to 40 lbs, bending, crawling, and laying as needed.
Represent CompuCom in a professional and businesslike manner, communicating effectively with customers and associates.
Respond to routine technical questions and requests for information.
