Core Responsibilities

  • Ensures overall engagement-team efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Interprets overall engagement results and communicates these results in an understandable manner to the client.
  • Responsible for ensuring the engagement team is provided with frequent on-the-job feedback and invested in the engagement team's development and overall career success.
  • Builds highly effective working relationships with clients and is the client's Trusted Advisor.

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree; Master's degree a plus.
  • CPA Certificate.
  • Must successfully pass a background check.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States full-time.

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for overall completeness and accuracy of client deliverables.
  • Responds quickly to any issues identified by the engagement team and the client and works with the client to develop and implement solutions.
  • Applies industry and professional expertise to recommend innovative solutions to client's business problems.
  • Makes sure that charge-ability and efficiency targets are met.
  • Identifies/participates in new business development opportunities and actively participates in proposal meetings with prospects.

Experience

  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Participates and/or conducts technical training sessions as needed
  • Embraces organizational change and encourages ongoing firm-wide innovation
  • Ability to identify and propose resolutions to complex accounting issues
  • Demonstrated advanced project management skills
  • Ability to utilize firm technology to enhance client service
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office computer programs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
