Sr. Automation QA Engineer (Full Time)

This is a remote position.

TekRecruiter has been asked to recruit a Sr. Automation Testing Engineer to join the team of an Enterprise Technology Company. This is a Full-Time Remote position. This role will allow H1B transfers and renewals.

In this role, you will be involved in all aspects of the software lifecycle including development, testing, provisioning, deploying medium to large scale server-side applications.   Your primary focus will be to understand our core business platform, discover opportunities for automation, identify and solve complex business scenarios and improve overall code coverage for quality.  You may also

Develop cloud native services on various platforms (AWS, Azure etc.), build secure webservices, use well established frameworks and patterns like messaging, persistence, batch etc.

Have solid coding skills to help design and implement various automated solutions that will help deliver high-quality products faster with fewer errors.

Ability to solve complex problems, dig deep to investigate root cause of issues.

Co-ordinate with development engineers, develop necessary procedures and processes, maintain documentation and guides that track quality metrics and guidelines, publish performance testing strategies, represent team on end-to-end testing efforts etc.

Collaborate with product managers and business stakeholders to improve requirements quality.

Build and deploy continuous delivery systems (preferably Jenkins) and support applications within a production environment, work with operations to keep applications running smoothly.

Qualifications:

• 5 to 7 years of QA Automation Engineering experience
  
• 3+ years of experience in building secure RESTful webservices using Java, JAX-RS, Dropwizard, Jersey, JAX-RS or Spring Boot. 
  
• API design and documentation using Swagger, OAuth/JWT security, concurrent programming, testing frameworks etc.
  
• 4+ years of experience in API validation for backend services using tools like Selenium, JMeter.  Some experience with Cucumber, LoadUI is a big plus.
  
• 3+ years of experience in development and testing of cloud native platforms (AWS preferred).  Familiarity with cloud services and frameworks like EC2, S3, Lambda, Kafka/MSK is a plus.
  
• 3+ years of experience in database technologies including Oracle, MongoDB, Redis or other related NoSQL solutions.
  
• 3+ years in writing Java code using tools like Eclipse, NetBeans or IntelliJ, and Git/Subversion
