This is a remote position.

Finance Ops Lead

Overview
Own key finance operations across Accounts Receivable, Record to Report, timesheet governance, and management reporting for an IT/service-based business.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end AR: invoicing, collections, aging, dispute resolution, and cash flow follow-up.

  • Ensure accurate billing using timesheets, contracts, rate cards, and milestones.

  • Lead month-end and year-end close, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis.

  • Maintain balance sheet schedules and support internal/external audits.

  • Oversee timesheet tracking, validation, and compliance across projects and resources.

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports and dashboards, often using Excel and manual data consolidation.

  • Partner with sales, delivery, HR, and leadership to resolve billing, reporting, and process issues.
