New York Online Mental Health Therapist

This is a remote position.

We are a virtual based telepsychiatry practice operating in several states, including Arizona, California, Florida, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas and Washington State. We are physician led and we are comprised of psychiatrists, psychiatric physician assistants and therapists. We are looking to add a therapist to provide therapy services to our client base. The clinic will be focused on a patient population with mainly depression and anxiety, patients who have commercial insurance or do self pay.

The therapist would be working as a 1099 independent contractor, and would be paid  $70 per visit. 

Responsibilities

• Complete diagnostic assessments and develop treatment plans
  
• Develop therapeutic relationships to establish personal recovery goals, rehabilitative goals, and objectives with each client
  
• Collaborate and coordinate services with school staff, families/guardians of clients, case managers, and medical personnel
  

Requirements

• Master's or other graduate degrees majoring in psychology, clinical psychology, counseling psychology, social work, marriage, and family therapy, or related fields from an accredited college or university and be on track to be a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
  
• All eligible candidates must have independent license in the states of  New York
  
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
  
• Demonstrate mental stability and model appropriate boundaries
  
• Timely and accurate submission of documentation of services and other documents as required
