.Net Web Developer (C#, SQL, .NET, Restful API's)

Our Client is seeking an experienced.Net developer for a contract positionat our development office in Cork. This will be technically challenging.position, working on a major enterprise application. The role will requireconstant interaction with other developers in the team and project managementto develop and maintain a robust, scalable, and performant system.

The Senior developer will take an active role in a project team, at both thetechnical design and code level, and at client and end user interfaces.

#Fully remote working can be requested- you will be required to onsite 2-3 in the month. 

Responsibilities

 · Requirements Analysis& Application Design

· Providing accurate estimates andtimings to project managers

· Daily interaction with clients tofacilitate successful project implementation.

· Becoming a subject matter expert onclient business processes, for example claims pricing and payment, providernetworks and group/member structures.

· Delivery of application developmentusing standard web development methodologies.

· Mentoring other developers within aproject team & Peer code review

· Self-motivating toward on timedelivery of high-quality outputs

· Ensuring all QA procedures aresatisfied in terms of process and documentation.

·  Adhere to and promote internal informationsecurity policies and procedures.

Attributes Required (some or all of the following)

 · Extensive commercialdevelopment experience in C# and ASP.Net

·  Excellent knowledge of MS SQLServer including Strong T-SQL (Stored Procedure)skills

·  Experience with HTML5, CSS3,JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery and other front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular)

· Experience implementing front-endcomponents optimized for speed and cross-browser compatibility.

· Knowledge of modern JavaScriptprogramming patterns, such as client-side MVC, dynamic resource loading, JSONP,event-driven programming, etc.

· Exposure to .Net 4.8, .NET Core, andMVC 5

· Knowledge of Restful APIs,Web Services, ADO.NET, Custom control development and SQL Server 2016+.

· Commercial development experiencewith SOA and related technologies

· Awareness of code management solutionssuch as Team Foundation Server and Git.

. Comfortable with Test Drive Developmentusing mocking frameworks and libraries e.g., Rhino Mocks, MS Test, etc

· Software development using Agile methodologies.
