Job description

JOB OVERVIEW: 
The Manager, Sales Training, is responsible for leading the design, execution, and continuous improvement of sales training programs and
initiatives. This role partners across multiple divisions to evaluate, prioritize, and deliver high-impact training projects aligned to business
needs. Working closely with senior leadership, this individual ensures alignment between training strategy and organizational goals. They
are accountable for setting training priorities, driving consistency in execution, and continuously assessing program effectiveness to improve
performance, efficiency, and overall sales impact. 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  
Identify and assess training needs across the Medical and Dental organizations through a formal analysis and intake process 
Lead the build, execution, and delivery of high-impact special projects aligned to business priorities 
Partner with senior leadership to prioritize needs and develop training strategies aligned to annual business objectives  
Build and manage relationships with key subject matter experts to enhance content quality and project effectiveness  
Monitor and evaluate training impact, participation, and outcomes, providing regular updates to senior leadership aligned to sales strategy 
Execute on the Sales Training Strategy and oversee regular reviews of that strategy to adjust as needed 
Identify and own the relationships with key subject matter experts both internal and external to the organization. 

 
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:  
 
Typically 10 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience; 1 or more years of management experience. 
 
PREFERRED EDUCATION:  
 
Typically a Bachelor’s degree or global equivalent in related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent a plus.

• Good negotiating skills and ability to effectively manage outsourced relationships 
• Ability to influence, build relationships, understand organizational complexities and manage conflict 
• Broad professional and managerial skills with a good understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures 
• Ability to lead virtual teams 
 
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:  
 
• Sales Training & Education Experience 
• Strong communication and organizational skills 
• Leadership skills and managerial experience 
• Understanding of Change Management  
 
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:  
 
Typically, to advance to a new job level, TSMs must demonstrate professional behavior and should consistently be at the high-end of meets expectations or consistently exceed expectations. 
 
TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 
 
Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required. 

The posted range for this position is $99,622-$155,660 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including education, prior experience, training, current skills, certifications, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. At the time of this posting, this position is eligible for a bonus not reflected in the posted range subject to the achievement of the plan.   Other benefits available include:  Medical, Dental and Vision Coverage, 401K Plan with Company Match, PTO [ or sick leave if applicable ], Paid Parental Leave, Income Protection, Work Life Assistance Program, Flexible Spending Accounts, Educational Benefits, Worldwide Scholarship Program and Volunteer Opportunities.
