READY TO LEAD HIGH-IMPACT IT PROJECTS? HERE'S WHAT IT TAKES:
- 3+ years of proven experience on systems application
- At least 3+ years of leadership experience, preferably in managing remote IT teams
- Demonstrated involvement in system implementation, enhancement, migration, or replacement projects, including requirements gathering, process mapping, stakeholder management, testing, and change management activities
- Proven experience managing and delivering complex projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational, time management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with experience managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools; relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum) are an advantage.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage all aspects of project planning, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables, as well as developing detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Effectively allocate resources and coordinate project activities, ensuring optimal utilization of personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring clear communication channels throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and proactively address any issues or roadblocks that may arise.
- Conduct regular project status meetings, prepare and present comprehensive progress reports to clients and senior management, highlighting key milestones, risks, and recommended actions.
- Ensure adherence to project management best practices and methodologies, implementing process improvements as needed to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring projects are delivered within approved budgets.
- Drive post-project evaluation and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement and apply lessons learned to future projects.
